Managing stocks and purchasing
Miquest manages stock and purchasing using two linked modules. The operation is flexible as it is recognised that many customers already have existing systems for these functions. Miquest can interface with a customer’s native system and use the relevant Miquest stock or purchasing functionality as may be needed to initiate the interface between the systems.
- Stock issues and returns
- Records all transactions and logs value changes
- Supports multiple store locations
- Auto re-ordering options
- Links to purchasing module
- Supports stock batching, serialisation, LIFO and FIFO practices
Miquest interfaces can be operated in real time or batch process. The Miquest stock modules include functionality for stock issues and returns, goods inward, stock takes and transfers to purchase order, stock movements and stock value history log. LIFO and FIFO are fully supported as is stock batching and serialisation, barcodes and management of consignment stock.
